Prof. Dina Shahar
Designer and design educator, Dina Shahar holds a Master’s Degree (with Distiction) from the Royal College of Art, London.
She is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the DAN Department of Creative Human Design at Hadassah Academic College in Jerusalem. Between the years 2010-2018 she held the position of Department Chair. Since 2022 she is the Presidents’ Advisor in charge of Gender Equity.
Her interests span the methodologies of Inclusive Design and the evolving roles of designers in social contexts. Alongside her academic initiatives she is involved in design projects for public spaces; urban/rural interventions; design with communities. Since 2018 she is working as an academic advisor and design consultant to the Yangtze River Delta Research Center (NPU Taicang Campus, China).
